Susan Westwood’s haunting landscapes, seascapes, poetry and portraits are reminiscent of her childhood spent in a remote Exmoor village on England’s rugged Southwest coast where she rode Exmoor ponies through bracken and briar, marsh and tangled wood to the cries of sea-gulls and ravens caws. Unencumbered Susan and her village friends inhabited a magical place shared only by the inventions of the imagination.
